Learning for Life

Experiential education reinforces the lessons taught daily in your school and your classroom.

Incorporating the Invisible creates activities and challenges that require youth to work together to communicate, solve problems and deal with conflict.

Your Bus or Mine

It’s great to bring your students to our training course, where a new setting and new challenges can help students break old patterns.

At the same time, we recognize that tight budgets can make bus transportation the most expensive element of your event. If needed, we can adapt our programs to take place at parks, playgrounds or athletic fields near your school.

Training is available for half-day or all-day sessions.

Tackling Real Issues for Today’s Students

We develop programs for students that aim to:

  • Encourage leadership skills
  • Break down cliques
  • Address bullying behavior
  • Build a community in your classroom or your school
  • Develop accountability and responsibility
  • Resolve conflicts
  • Set and achieve goals

Serving School Teams, Clubs and Youth Groups

Experiential education can be a great way to address specific issues or improve team performance. Experiential education can boost the performance of:

  • Clubs or teams designed to pursue academic goals
  • Sports teams
  • Youth organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts or 4-H
  • Other youth groups

Call us to discuss how we can develop a program to enhance your group’s performance.

Inservice Opportunities

We offer inservice education to help teachers or other staff members address specific issues or build camaraderie.

Options include:

  • “Back-to-school” events for all staff or educators
  • Full-day seminars
  • Half-day seminars
  • “Lunch and learn” sessions or speaking engagements on targeted topics

Your staff can also gain a fresh perspective by testing themselves with the “adult learner” version of games offered to students.

Everyone Can Do It

We recognize the importance of involving all students in experiential education. If needed, we can adapt training to accommodate students' special needs. We encourage every participant to come to the event ready to move and ready to think -- it's a potent combination for learning.

“Jeff’s program was a great addition to our training efforts at Mid-State Technical College. Through engaging and fun activities we addressed team building, communication, and change with our faculty, management team, executive committee, and the MSTC Board. The activities broke down barriers and made it ‘safe’ for team members to share. I recommend “Incorporating the Invisible” for both educational institutions and businesses.”
